Gilda flies off to slash some pony flank, while Madmax group finds out the marquess is dead already. Yeah, I mean, that ugly guy just can't be the marquess. He's... ugly.

The group gets a bit sentimental with the suddenness of this, but they eat it up and keep going. Don't worry Maxie, your mercenaries are there to cheer you up :D

And also... Gilda!? Oh my, that's what I call a resentful Griffin. But she actually respects Maxie for her value of helping the needed without expecting something in return. As we learned earlier, gryphons are a very proud race, and as such, they value things like honor, justice, and while they rarely mention it, kindness.
