Yet, from the machine, she emerged as an entity beyond comprehension, a dark phantasm whose presence weighed down on all surrounding her. She could barely walk, and her only words were spoken through intense pain and struggling... "This is what you wanted." This, uh...this was unexpected. It started off as "Haha I can pitch her voice down nearly an octave" but then I started pushing myself to see if I could get it to actually help create atmosphere, and then I wanted to show it to someone else so I polished it up a bit and threw in some cool stuff, and... I had a finished song before I knew it. The original draft was a 6 minutes and 30 seconds long, though, so I had to figure out what was fluff and what was actually of importance. As for the art, it's another one from Qsteel, an amazing artist who left the world too soon, and I only hope I can do his picture justice. The whole song had this picture in mind, and it's something I've been wanting to do for a while and I kinda dipped into it when I did The Id, but I didn't go as far as I wanted to. I could probably take this to darker levels, but for now, this suffices; after all, I'd like to sleep! If you like what you hear, as usual, check out my bandcamp: https://radiarc.bandcamp.com/ 8 albums, an EP, and some bonus stuff you won't find on youtube! If you like this in particular, check out my EP Forgotten if you havent: https://radiarc.bandcamp.com/album/forgotten-ep Inspired by Silent Hill and horror games in general. That being said, this is where I usually talk to my description readers, but I just wanted to step aside for a second and talk about the song and some other stuff; it's a lot different from what I usually do, but I always strive to make my efforts sound overall decent. Not to call out anybody or anything, but I feel like a lot of people in the fandom have been slacking, and it just bothers me when people act like nothing's wrong. I'm not perfect, either (far from it), but man, people talking about how they finished a song in a couple hours...you should upload something you're proud of, not something you just threw together. Do you have any idea how many crap ideas I've uploaded to clyp? I want this fandom to keep producing great music, and I want to keep pushing myself as hard as I can to become a better musician, but I just wish other people would adopt similar standards. These people are capable of so much and have the potential for greatness, they just need to give themselves time to work at it. I dunno. You've listened to me rant, so have something for your time: https://clyp.it/rl40p4ss This is what I was originally gonna work on, but then this popped up and I was like "Aww, man, this is actually kinda good", so I finished this, and I might move on to this thing next. I want to really turn some heads this year; I feel like I've made my name, but I really want to make an impact overall on the fandom. This is the year I push past my limitations and really make some amazing things that hopefully inspire others to do the same. I'm gonna try reeeeeally hard to get at least a couple more songs out before Bronycon since I've got WTFox 2 right before that, but all donations and general support help a ton, and I greatly appreciate all you guys being there for me, even when I'm being a bit of a butt. Stay awesome, guys.
