Guardian and friend, she walks toward the foe with confidence, authority in her gaze and power coursing through her veins. "There is a time for everything. A time for peace, a time for war..." she says as she approaches her enemy, a nemesis to nearly every aspect of her being. "A time to follow, a time to lead...a time to stand up to protect those we love, a time to be who we are meant to be." Memories of her friends flashed through her mind, and she loved them dearly, but she pressed forward, understanding that the fate of many rests on her shoulders. She points her horn at her adversary as time seems to stop entirely... Through the darkest of times and the most difficult of struggles, she finally understood what it meant to be a princess. Yeah, it isn't so great (the paragraph or the song, I dunno). There are a few derps in the song that I just can't fix because it chokes my computer (all my work is done on a Lenovo G580, and laptops can only handle so much), so I apologize. What you're hearing is actually a project I no longer have because I made a few alterations in the final-final draft, but it's close enough to where it doesn't matter. Exporting as .wav kept resulting in strange clipping (in quieter parts, too), and the project took forever to load, and *insert excuse #3 here*. All in all, it sucked, so I'm giving you guys the best that I could possibly manage. As for the song, I don't even know how it happened. I just started thinking about intimidating stuff, and then when the piano kicked in, I thought it really resembled Twilight in a sort of warlike situation where she's all serious and stuff, but she's always thinking about her awesome friends, so...yeah. Anyways, onto the good stuff. Artwork: http://www.deviantart.com/#/art/In-the-Alicorn-State-356621067?hf=1 And for the sorta good stuff.
