4 tracks from my soundtrack/dark ambient EP, Forgotten, based on games like Silent Hill, Dead Space, and Amnesia. https://radiarc.bandcamp.com/album/forgotten-ep Artwork: http://qsteel.deviantart.com/art/Blind-310622378 I don't really have much to say about this (since it's stuff I've already made) aside from how much I enjoyed making this. For a long time, I'd had that Pinkamena picture on my mind, and I was trying to figure out how to do it enough justice, but I didn't know how to go about it. I was messing around with Finality, and I started thinking about doing a whole EP based around ambience, since it's something I feel I'm good at and it's both simple and fun for me to make, so I sat down to work on it. After Finality was done, I worked on I've Missed You (which was not my best by FAR, but if you look at it as more of a Twin Peaks-style song, then it's actually pretty decent), then Home, then The Id (which was originally called Id, but soundcloud is dumb and the title had to be longer than 3 characters), and then Amnion because I needed a bit of a filler piece for the cutscene which will be explained in the comments section below. It was a 5-day project and I'd gladly do it again because I freaking LOVE working on this kind of stuff and landing a job working with a horror indie game dev with a strong idea and prepared content would be a thrill. I'm partially uploading this because I've been working very, very hard at getting SOMETHING out before Bronycon, but it just doesn't seem to want to happen, so I figured I'd share this for the people that didn't get to hear it. As always, hope you guys enjoy, because I sure did. Finality's my favorite, by the way. If you like what you hear, check out the rest of my bandcamp! https://radiarc.bandcamp.com/ 8 albums, this EP, plus some bonus stuff you won't find on youtube! As for description readers, uhh... Well, to show my view on it, listen to this: https://clyp.it/bwjie0co I took a guy's basic music box line, chained the audio's pitch to a sine wave, added convolution to it, and then took a string patch with the same type of manipulation and had that running and then threw in some SFX for good measure. It took me 10 minutes. I love making this stuff and it's super easy, but man, I just love it. If you want me to do more stuff like this in the future, or if you'd like more epic orchestral or hybrid orchestral, please tell me either in the comments or directly; any and all feedback is appreciated since I really value everyone's opinion, and, while I know it's impossible, I just want to make everyone as happy as possible while having the most amount of fun. Stay awesome guys, and hope to see you at Bronycon!
