I did this for toastbeard a few weeks ago, wasn't sure if I liked it or not, but anyways the theme was this:

Grab a nearby object, or any object in your house.

This object is now the cutie mark for some pony.

Write a song describing how this pony discovered his or her cutie mark.

There was a bottle of pills on my desk. "Levothyroxine" is the name of the medicine. So I just associated it with the crazy pony some people call "Screw Loose." Enjoy!
