Diving with Giant Australian Cuttlefish Filmed at Point Lowly and Stony Point in South Australia. Every year during the Australian winter months (June/July), my diving friends and I make a trip to the Cuttlefish spawning area near Whyalla. Cuttlefish come to this location to mate and lay their eggs. There are around 10 males to one female, so there is some busy mating action. Water depth was between 2-6m, most of the action were at the 2-3m depth mark. Water temperature was 13-14C. Underwater photos taken with a Sony A6400 mirrorless, Sony 90mm OSS macro lens and Kraken Hydra 5000S+ WSRU Video/Strobe Lights. Above water aerial shots were taken with a DJI Mavic 2 Pro.
