Inspiration for the song?

Ever since I got into music with the brony community, I always had a draw to the short Meteor Shower scene from Owls Well That Ends Well, and wanted to do a song about it.  Well, after many months and multiple failed attempts later, I finally have something that closely resembles what I originally had in mind.
