This is a storyline that retells the story of Sugar Rush. When Turbo jumped into the game and erased Vanellope's data, everyone forgot she was the rightful ruler and allowed him to take her place as King Candy. However it seemed that for some reason, Taffyta didn't forget. Because he wanted to make sure he wouldn't be revealed as an impostor, Turbo forced Taffyta to obey him and bully Vanellope around to destroy her confidence, even though she didn't want to.

When the time came for the Cy-Bug attack at the end, Vanellope did her best to help Ralp stop Turbo, but ultimately she didn't realize that her kart had been ruined by Taffyta and in the middle of the Cy-Bug's attack, she crashes, finally understanding what had happened. With her gone, Turbo has no problem corrupting the game with his newfound viral powers and results in a game over for everyone all because Taffyta was too weak to resist and stand up for what she believed in.
