Nippon means Japan in Japanese and this is a very small style of Synthwave that brings forth inspiration in both music and imagery from that country. In particular Satellite Young is the most well known Japanese Synthwave artist who combines vintage 80's anime with J-pop vocals. Many Synthwave acts use Japanese Anime for their videos but rarely do they return the favor with that inspiration in their music. This playlist selects tracks by musicians that have done tracks in a Japanese style.
