Why is this piece called A is for Applejack? Pretty much because the whole piece is based off of a first inversion A chord with an added 9th and why is the whole piece based of one chord you might ask? Because it's a minimalist piece. Minimalism is a very interesting style and is honestly one of my favorite styles of both visual art and music. Also, the style fits applejack so well in my mind. It conjures the image of routine and repetitive work, but a satisfying day on the farm for AJ.
