Portugues and US Marines, conducted a Combined Amphibious Assault simulation exercise at the Pinheiro da Cruz training range in Portugal. Two platoons of Portuguese and American Marines boarded the CH53E helicopter, bound for Pinheiro da Cruz, as part of TRIDENT JUNCTURE 15. The amphibious assault was made up of Naval Striking and Support Forces NATO (STRIKFORNATO), Portuguese Marines “Fuzileiros”, and the United States Marine Corps. Trident Juncture is a NATO-led exercise designed to certify NATO response forces and develop interoperability among participating NATO and partner nations. Shot by: Portuguese Combat Camera.
