A KC-135 Stratotanker crew from the 344th Air Refueling Squadron, McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas, conducts the refueling mission as part of the Tanker Task Force for Red Flag 16-1. Conducted at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, Red Flag gives aircrews and air support operations personnel from various airframes, military services, and allied countries an opportunity to integrate and practice combat operations against a realistic air and ground threat array.
