MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII (July 10, 2016) - U.S. Marines and members of the Japanese Ground Self Defense Force participate in helocasting July 10, 2016 on Marine Corps Base Hawaii. This training is designed to enhance the interoperability of III Marine Expeditionary Forces with partners and allies during military operations in the maritime environment. The world's largest international maritime exercise, RIMPAC provides a unique training opportunity while fostering and sustaining cooperative relationships between participants critical to ensuring the safety of sea lanes and security on the world's oceans.
