Outside, the crash of thunder darkly echoes the growing turbulence of her thoughts- a grim storm that has churned for over five centuries past the death of her friends. Alone in her room, the drone of rain hammering against the window begins to dull to the Princess of Friendship. Her mind, strenuously tested by the endless march of time, reaches a breaking point, her psyche thrown into a downward spiral. "I wasn't prepared for this..." the somber confession haunts her conscience, her building desperation forcing her to action. Twilight flees her room, the rhythmic clatter of her galloping filling the palace halls as her hooves carry her forward into the dark, in search of escape. She's always been able to rely on the strength of friendship- maybe someone can save her from these endless nightmares. But perhaps some terrors, those that lurk within the darkest recesses of the mind, must be confronted... alone.

Enter the chilling soundscape of Fear of Dark, a nine track concept album and exploration into the emotive tones of dark ambience and future garage by Seventh Element. The album, to be released next Thursday, chronicles the struggles of a still-grieving Twilight and will be accompanied by a series of written passages for each track.
