Out of all of the bands I want to see perform live, Guns N' Roses was not one of them. Not because I don't like them (I do) but because I didn't think they would ever come back together after their falling out in the 90s (yes I know, it's not a full reunion, but still).  Then their reunion tour made its way to my state's capital, so I went.

And it was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. Axl's voice is still great, Slash is a madman with a guitar (seriously, I've always respected Slash for getting me interested in playing guitar again, but that dude can freaking shred. He's truly one of the great living guitar heroes). Duff McKagan was great, and all the other musicians were really good (Richard Fortus, the rhythm guitarist, in particular was great).

All in all, a fantastic concert and I hope GnR head to the studio to record a new album soon!
