A project that started out as vent, and grew to mean different things to me while I was working on it. I started it because I listened to Crawling and really related to the lyrics at the time. Yes, even Crawling, the "meme song", is relatable. I thought the piano version worked better for this animation.

This animation originally wasn't going to be colored, but I decided to anyway. So I'm so sorry for the lack of quality on this one. It was never meant to be as polished as a full music video. It was only meant to capture emotion.

Now, I couldn't find an exact statistic on how many people deal with mental illness, but I've heard 1 in 4, but have also seen 1 in 5, or 1 in 6. I truly believe myself its 1/4 because there's so many illnesses that go undiagnosed, and almost everyone goes through grief during their life. Here are a couple sources I did find:
