For those who have or plan on finding a significant other, don't rush into things and don't assume they are THE ONE after either first seeing them or being an item for hardly a month. Like Garnet says:

"Love takes time, and love takes work, and you at least have to know the person."

The easiest way to get your heart broken is pouring to much of your fantasy into your love life and focusing so hard on getting them that if they reject you, you are completely destroyed. Or maybe they do accept you, but you learn later they are so problematic that your attraction just dissolves. Go into the pursuit thinking "I want to get to know them and see if that's something worth going for".

For this single, such as myself... They'll appear one day, and most likely where you least expect it ;D.
