So, here's the prologue redone. I'll keep the original up but unlisted as an example to those who want to get into narration. I've spoken about this kind of thing on the mlpaudiobooks website - Aside form my awful early editing the interesting bit is how you work your way into the character. You can prep yourself but until you actually start speaking the characters words for an extended time you don't really fall into the role for a while...it feels stiff and flat, at least when looked at in retrospect...I look back few chapters and think I still sound goofy but not nearly as so as the first. You see the same kind of phenomenon in other media as well - especially animated shows. For example watch the first episode of Family or Futurama and compare it to much later episodes. Anyways - If you're new and continue to listen you're going to see quite a shift in chapter two so just bear with it :) I do plan on redoing more chapters as time allows, up to a point. Oneward! I apologize in advance for the accents I am using. The dialog often has a SouthWestern feel to it, at least as far as Silver Storm and Wildfire are concerned. I consulted No-One on this but he and or she left it up to me. Logically, given the 'drawl' Wildfire has it's safe to assume that if she and Silver Storm grew up together it is a safe bet they have the same accent. As for the Accent...well....unless you know your accents you may not notice. If you're from the Southwest or Southeast you may find it horrid as I fall a bit in and out of each. I spent the last week or so trying to hone it down, so bear with me while I continue to work on it. I plan to try and release a chapter a week as my real life allows.
