Those tears were very real, Keiko himself wrote the last bit as a message to everyone. Keikoandgilly will be heard one last time in episode 8 part 2. We hope everyone understands and is welcoming to the new voice actor. Notes- Well my loving fans, Brony Con was indeed a blast. I got to meet all of you wonderful people in person, and those I didn't meet, I would have loved to. Unfortunately, it comes with a heavy heart that I must make this announcement, one that took a long, thoughtful year to come to. I, Keikoandgilly, am stepping down willingly, and resigning from my role as The Doctor, for both practical and personal reasons. To clarify, it is no one's fault in particular. I have personally lost passion assuming the role due to the pressure of what said role entitles, and my personal disconnection as the project has grown bigger than I remember it (in other words, I have bitten more than I could chew). On top of that, most of my own works had to be sacrificed in order to do this project, and I honestly want to contribute to the community with my own flair. That is why, after part two of episode eight, I will personally be stepping down, and giving the role to a protege that I am coaching at the very moment. How the production team handles the transition is purely up to their creative skills, and I have full trust of their abilities. I wish them the best as I am sure they would do the same. Will I be doing any more doctor roles? Who knows, I might do fan requests from time to time, but it remains to be seen. I thank all of you for stepping along this journey with me, and I look forward to another adventure. Avante! ~ Keikoandgilly From the team: Keikoandgilly has played a fantastic Doctor for the time he has been with us, while we have heavy hearts to see him leave, we also wish him the best of luck in whatever direction he takes and we hope all of you can give our new Doctor a chance. He is being personally trained by Keiko to be able to play the role in as similar as a voice as possible. The Doctor is still the same Doctor we've been writing, he is not regenerating, but simply being played by another voice. So when he comes on board I hope we can all give him a warm welcome. Thank you, Keiko, for all you've provided. You've brought a lot of energy and fun to the role.
