Have you ever wondered why in the episode, Tanks for the Memories, Rainbow Dash says it's her first winter with Tank, even though it's technically her the second winter since she got him?
The chronology of Friendship is Magic is quite confusing at times, but I have a time-bending theory that may just answer this question :)
