We often look into skewed versions of reality as a method of coping with disappointment. We conjure fantasies and dream of what it would be like to live in a different, better world. Yet, why do reject reality? The world we fantasize of can be created from the one we've been given. True, we may not be able to create the impossible, but we can make the world a better place. We have the ability everyday to grow and make our world better, but we need to take the necessary steps to do so. There is a philosophy which states the world can flourish with human effort. With that inspiration, I've created my most recent composition: "Meliorism".
