This is the second track of the Ponies: As Imagined album. This time I wanted to write a more epic (a fandom favorite!), slightly hybrid orchestral piece and Sweetie Belle / Bot seemed like a perfect blend. As soon as DiscordTheGE came out with this particular art, influenced heavily by Detroit: Become Human (my favorite game this year), I knew this was perfect.
The instruments were picked to suit the Sweetie Belle / Rarity adage, with a slightly synthetic feel during the verses to supplement the process of "becoming pony". This changes to a more traditional epic piece in the choruses which change from one to the next slightly to reflect the stages of becoming pony (also shown graphically).
All in all, I am quite happy how efficiently this piece turned out and while mixing drums was an added challenge this time, it was again a lot of fun!
