We must face it now; there's no time to delay anymore.

I actually wanted to compose something a bit more nuanced (which is coming next) but I was drawing a blank and so decided to fall back on something rougher and more emotional in the form of this epic piece.

I tried to convey a sense of urgency and unrest in what are very much different segments of a battle theme. Much like the dynamism of a fight, this song goes through various stages of intensity and ultimately culminates in a final buildup that leads to a cliffhanger-style ending.

Overall, I am very pleased with the overall piece and with how the final mix turned out; I definitely learnt a thing or two in the process.

With regards to what's going on out there; please, stay safe everyone. Find enjoyment in solitary or online activities so you don't have to think about what's going on outside. Wash your hands, social distance and keep in touch with your friends and family! I'll make sure to do just that. Until next time :)
