The game doesn't have a name, but sometimes I call it Chike because that's what I call something I don't have a name for. So feel free to call it whatever you like, but remember to give credit to me :) Subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9BChy6SbX8doxf9DfqZTrw What You Need: 8x8 chess board (standard board size) 8 pieces for 2 players (16 total) How To Win: Capture or freeze all of your opponent's pieces. How To Play: Each piece can only move forward by one space in any direction (No moving to the side!) Capturing a piece can be done in a number of ways as seen in the video. But the basic way to capture is to have 3 or more of your pieces in a row and have your opponent's piece in the 4th space in the same row. This works in any direction, up, sideways, or diagonal. To freeze a piece you must have 1 or 2 piece(s) to the side of an opponent's piece AND 1 or 2 of your pieces on the opposite side. (See video to better understand.) Reviving A Piece: If you move your piece all the way to the last row you can then move that piece all the way back to your first row (must be on the same color...for exaple a white piece must be sent to a white space) After doing this you may then take a piece you previously lost to your opponent and place it in the first row (it too must be placed on a space with the same color.) Instead of doing the above you also have the option to take a piece from your opponent. (The taken piece may be from anywhere on the board... afterwards move your piece back to the first row on a space with the same color.) If your piece could not be moved back to the first row it is frozen in the back row forever! However you do still get the choice to take or revive a piece. Capture List: It's best to watch the video but in case you are still confused I will try to explain captures using X's and O's. XXXO (O is captured) XXXXOO (Both O's are captured) XXXXXOOO (All the O's are captured, But the 5th X is also captured.) OXXXO (Both O's are captured.) XXXOOO (The middle X and O are both captured.) Freeze List: XOXX (O cannot be moved!) XXOX (O cannot be moved!) XXOXX (O cannot be moved!)
