My submission for the Weekly Oat challenge for the week of 2/18/18 - 2/25/18

This week’s theme was Tempest at a second glance or at a distance. I had some rough lyrics for this song wrote down a while back, so I decided to polish them up with the help of some great friends.

My whole idea was someone being awestruck by her and wishing to help her to find a lighter side of herself. Something with a heavy rock/pop-punk influence seemed to fit this rather well. Hope you dig it!

I swear, my heart skipped a beat
