It's been quite awhile since I've written any original music, but I made an exception for my friend, Exiark for his new album. He is ridiculously talented and it was such a treat to see what awesome things he could do with my voice. Be sure to buy his album and subscribe to his channel!

The lyrics I wrote were very much influenced by Helen Reddy's "I am woman", as a song of female empowerment and an ode to the discouragement some girls (and feminine men) feel growing up with others telling them who to be. Of course, I do hope any male or non-binary listeners feel equally empowered while listening
