Hi Everypony! I got some amazing feedback on my first tutorial video in which I cover some of the new features of Inkscape 0.49 and some basic shading concepts! Thank you to everyone who watched it!! One of the pieces of feedback I received was from a fellow vector artist name Tajarnia, who suggested a different method of creating clips for shading by using path operations instead of removing interior anchor nodes. This gave me another idea for easily creating a shading clip which would be linked to the original stroke so that you don't have to recreate it if you change anything. I demonstrate both methods in this followup, so hopefully that will help you with speeding up your shaded vectors! Feel free to leave any feedback on this followup or on the original tutorial! I would love to find ways to improve my tutorials! I will actually start creating more tutorials soon, which may cover anything from basic vectoring techniques, to advanced shading!
