It begins...This is the first part of a symphonic poem I composed last summer, it's based on the comic "Gathering the Elements" by Nimaru. It's a Wagnerian type of composition where I used different recurring themes to represent various elements and situations in the comic, this will be more clear to you once I start uploading the rest of the music. For now, just enjoy this introductory piece. As I was saying, Wagner opera was a great inspiration for this, so I decided to make an introduction that contains the main thematic elements of the poem. This is structured like a "Sinfonia", intended like a Verdi or Rossini sinfonia, which was a bitematic introductory piece played at the beginning of an opera, just to create the general mood and tone of the work you're about to hear.

I think I really have to apologize to the ones who were waiting for this piece of mine, but turns out I'm on my own for all the video editing and I'm trying to do my best, so forgive me if I will be a little slow! I was going to give up, but I spent 8 months to write this music so I'm going to share it in any form possible. After all, this was all made for you. The whole composition is 50 minutes long, I will post it in parts, according to the division of the comic.
