Down, below the plateau, the spirits sing of a place between life and death. Their dancing is set to the sway of the wind, which bellows slowly but surely across the macabre sands. Vylet notices a familiar face among them; the spirit bears the face of the great Dragon Rider of the first simulation. This Vinshal Udo, who watches over the other spirits at the bonfire, now meets Vylet’s eyes at the distant plateau.
