--Ever since she began studying under Princess Celestia, Twilight Sparkle knew she would do something big one day. In order to excel, Twilight took up astronomy along with the normal sciences. For years she had dreamed of having her own space exploration program. 2045, she begins drawing blue prints for a massive space station known as the Starship Ponyville 327000. Establishing an entirely new internet broadband system, connection and transmissions between the spacecraft and the base become nearly flawless. 2050. An expedition in the deserts of Saddle Arabia reveal an artifact that seem directly linked to one of the heavenly bodies being studied by elite Equestrian astronomers and scientists. As the Starship Ponyville sets off on its maiden voyage, a fallen legacy will be known again, and the epitome of all adventures becomes a reality.--

The Starship Ponyville concept is a story spread out into multiple albums, EP's, and singles. There will be no actual fanfic, but for each release, a brief description of the continuing story will be included. The rest of the details are for the listener to create themselves.
