Discord's Statue and Spike have gone missing, and suddenly Blue Blood is thrust into power in Canterlot.

Claiming an assassination attempt of the Princesses by the Wonderbolts and Royal Guard, Blue Blood orders their groups disbanded by his new Dragonic Enforcers. Cadence reveals that old magics are grouping together to control Canterlot.

With the Royal Library surrounded by green flames, Twilight sparkle and her friends must journey to find the last Griffon Tome Librarian: Gilda. The main roadways are patrolled by changelings, so they'll need the help of the well traveled map maker Trixie. To buy their friends and family time, Big Macintosh and Shining Armor need the help of a reluctant fighter of the Windigo Wars in order to challenge the Dragonic Enforcers.
