This is a tribute cover too Chester from Linkin Park who had died. I wanted to do something special as Linkin Park means the world to me. I grow up listening to Linkin Park with my dad buying me Hybrid Theory album and just falling in love it. When I was just nine I got to see them live, at Download 2004. I remember as well instead of getting my face painted, I got my arms painted with flames like Chester; even in college I got my lip pierced too. However most importantly Linkin Park's music means so much to me; so many lyrics I connect with, so deeply. I love each album; they all inspired me in different ways and been there in different parts of my life. Even the new album even before this I loved; Halfway right/ is my one favourite Linkin Park songs, period. So after seeing 'R.I.P Chester' on my Linkin Park/ MLP mash up video; I didn't believe it was true; It took at least 24hrs before it really hit me. However after listening to 'in the end' on youtube; I just burst out crying; just remembering all the times I listen to that song and now that I know he is gone; was really hard. I know a lot of musicians have died recently and lot of them I really like. However I can't remember a time Linkin Park wasn't their for me. Songs like Breaking The Habit and Waiting For The End; got me through some really bad times. Literally the same day Chester killed himself I just started talking to friends/family again. That whole week I didn't talk to anyone; I was just feeling worthless and sank into a hole. So it really shocked me that someone I loved killed himself and it honestly stopped me from letting myself feeling how I did last week.
