So I wrote this thing in like 2 hours right after I watched the latest MLP episode (Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep?) and a lot of my friends are going through tough times. So I was like hey, why not cheer them up with some Luna action?... Then it took a bajillion hours to record because 1) I have amateur guitar skillz and 2) I have no idea how to use Logic Pro X ;_; i cri

This song is FAR from complete. I don't have a MIDI keyboard (or any keyboard in fact) so I only used my acoustic guitar to play everything (even the bass notes). I'm planning to redo it someday, with better instrumentation and mixing. If you would like my vocal stems then don't hesitate to email me :)

This song is sung by Luna and it's essentially about how she has the burden of battling nightmares even though she can’t fight her own. She feels so guilty about her past that she thinks of this as a punishment to herself. The song develops just as the episode does, as she realizes that she shouldn't be beating herself up over her past mistakes and that she is truly loved by those around her.
