Okay, so I sorta got myself hooked on this television series. You know the one: Steven Universe. I had heard of the series way back in November 2013 when the show first premiered on Cartoon Network, but hadn't really put much thought towards it. Eventually, I even watched an episode or two and decided that the show just wasn't for me. However, that could've been due to the then current obsession I had with another children's cartoon ... AHEM, anyway, back to what I was saying. 

I was scrolling through Deviant Art the other day and came across a very well-drawn picture of the main characters of the show. I then thought to myself, "Might as well give it another shot; I'm awfully bored as it is." It was then and there I decided to allow the TV show Steven Universe a chance to redeem itself. I originally intended to watch only the first few episodes to get a renewed feel for it; I ended up watching every episode that has been released twice. Eh, what you gonna do?

In a battle between MLP and Steven Universe, sorry MLP old friend but you'd lose. The characters in SU feel more alive, more realistic, and there is drama present in the show that just doesn't exist in MLP (What's that you say; it's SUPPOSED to be more adult-oriented? Well, get off me). That, and I've been growing away from MLP for awhile now. It just doesn't interest me like it used to. In fact, I've only watched a single episode from Season 5 (although, yes, I WILL watch the 100th episode just cause).

Anyway, enough rambling. I present to you my first, of hopefully many, Steven Universe-inspired songs (I know that it is shorter than my other songs; sorry about that)! Thank you Rebecca Sugar for creating this amazing Universe! ... See what I did there? ... Screw you, it was funny ...
