I'm having a ball here with the meme hit of the season, but if we're being reasonable about the actual story of Arifureta, I don't think this show ever had a chance of even resonating with fans of generic video game fantasy anime as much as Sword Art Online did. But you can be the judge for yourself, this is all just me calling it like I see it.
