This is the alpha stage of an attempt at pitch shifting Beethoven's 7th symphony for an experimental film class I'm taking. The visuals are purely placeholders and will be extremely different (and less YTPMV-ish) in the final product, and the audio will be far more on point. For now though, I figured I'd share this. I'm aware that the visuals are sub-par and that the levels are fucked up, but during the process of making this I was more concerned with whether it was even feasible to recreate the piece with sounds obtained from household objects (in this case, a bottle of Yeungling). I'll likely post the final version of the project on Youtube as well, although that too will seem unfinished because the project is meant to be played in tandem with related 16mm film stock footage. I'm considering getting the stock digitized, but that would be fairly expensive. We'll see.
