This is a parody of Hey, Soul Sister for Kenzie’s birthday. Kenzie and I are Soul Sisters, as dubbed by our high school when we won the award two years in a row in the music department. So, I thought this song would be absolutely perfect, haha. I love this song a lot but I wanted to change the lyrics so it made sense for our situation. I don’t make parodies a lot, the only exception is fandom parodies at times. So if this isn’t that great, please still be kind because I put a lot of love into this one.

Kenzie is one of the funniest, strongest, beautiful, supportive, kind, and awesome best friends in the world. And anyone would be super lucky to have her in their life. I am one of those lucky people :) We’ve known each other since summer camp in elementary school, and now we’re in college. So you can tell we’ve been good friends for a longggg time. We’ve had a lot of fun adventures together. We’re two of the most chaotic and silly music kids in our town. But we’re both very serious about music and will be pursuing it in the future. We go to different colleges now that are pretty far away from each other, but our friendship stays strong. I’d never take her friendship for granted.
