Hello! My name is Melody, and this is my contest entry for the #BMCKaraoke contest! I hope you enjoy my cover!

I was really excited when I heard about this contest, because as some of you may know, Be More Chill is my favorite musical of all time. BMC helped me through rough times, and I really feel a connection to every character. I first found this musical the summer before my junior year, and it really changed my life.

I choose I Love Play Rehearsal to sing because I am literally Christine. No joke, we are the same person haha! She’s not only my dream role, but a copy of me. And Stephanie Hsu is such a huge inspiration to me. I’d love to meet her one day and tell her thank you. Also, I sang this song for a talent show I was in, so it’ll always have a special place in my heart. Definitely one of my favorite songs from the musical.

So to both the Joe’s, thank you for such an amazing musical. I had fun participating in this contest and I hope I can one day see Be More Chill on the Broadway stage.
