the motor was barely running to start with. It was a cheap-o $99 harbor freight engine that has sat behind my barn for 2 years. the carb leaked...no gas cap and its not like it was a rare engine so YES i did bend the rod and the motor was completly fucked after this....to bad so sad. deal with it
