There's a tendency for fandoms to say that female characters with close friendships are lesbians, as if women can't share intimate moments without being gay, but most of these ships are obvious. Except some of the MLP ships are more of a "lol they're all lesbians" fandom thing. In the show only Lyra/Bon Bon and maaaybe Starlight/Trixie are eyebrow raising.
