After Team Ponyville won the medal count against Team Cloudsdale at the Equestria Games, including the closing ceremonies, Omega Brony confronts Twilight Sparkle. He plans to take control of the Tree of Harmony by using Discord's plunderseeds, so that he will once again rule Equestria. He was supposed to be reformed by Twilight and her friends, but sum of the power of the elements of harmony and dark magic still remains in him. So Twilight Sparkle gathers the rest of the Mane 6 to battle Omega. They will also have to defeat Dr. Eggman, who is piloting the Egg Wyvern.
