Twilight Sparkle puts her friendship retreat on hold when she got a letter from her old nemesis. While the rest are asleep at the ravine right by the tree of harmony, Twilight went to Ponyville, where she meets Princess Dark Matter, and she was the one who sent the letter to her because she has a very big surprise. She reveals a powerful artifact called the Phantom Ruby and she is going to use it against the Mane 6. Twilight once again battles the evil Princess Dark Matter.
