My own cover done of the fantastic Rainbow factory. It sounds really bad, but oh well, Halloween is tomorrow, so this is literally last minute spooktober content that I could post. RIP.

It was interestingly fun working on this though. I wrote/edited the lyrics and recorded the first verse months ago, and basically scrambled to upload this somewhat complete. Hopefully all the voices and effects transfer over clear. Audacity was giving me trouble editing.

Now a rainbow's tale isn't quite as nice
It's a rather messed up piece of paradise
As the story we knew of sugar and spice
no perfect little girls will come from this vice
But a rainbow's easy once you get to know it
You can hear faint screams if you sit below it
With the help of the magic of a pegasus device
it brings delight to who don't know the price

Let's delve deeper into rainbow philosophy
spectrum studies found a new discovery
Far beyond that of Cloudsdale's mythology
A color decline brought in a new technology

It's easy to misjudge that floating city
With it's alluring decor and social psychology
But with all great things comes a great responsibility
That of Cloudsdale's being weather stability

Population rising brings a new summery
Average flying talent is below recovery
A new doctrine was put into servility
hoping to ease the worries of nobility

How, you ask, are they up to the task
To save their society from this new caste
the answer, to which, is in a simple facility
that will bring about the end to this new volatility

There's no way to get out of here, if you get put in here your stuck
so, ya better hope they take you first, else you'll come to curse your luck
for there's nothing worse than a prolong fate fixing a cursed machine
forced to keep the metal beast alive that drains all the others clean

In the rainbow Factory, where they sort the ponies by their hues
