The hard part in making an automaton of a viral meme is the month or so delay in having to make them. But hey, at least this works even when the internet is out.
The duck and stand are made of mahogany and the gears from narra hardwood and painted in acrylic. It took approximately 50+ hours to make (I lost the piece of paper where I log in the time).
