my twitter: https://twitter.com/mayyde So Christmas happened recently, and I was generously given a Yamaha keyboard to use for making music and things. So I immediately got to work and laid down some guitars and vocals to start off a mix. I opened up some built-in drum samples in the keyboard and recorded the output into Audacity. After I had most of the drums completed, I started to track in everything else like vocal harmonies and extra guitar layers. My main bass guitar is completely out of commission at the moment, so I recorded a bass-line using a default sine-wave sample from the keyboard, pitched down an octave. There's also some layers of pianos and synthesizers hidden in the mix at times. I'm really proud of this mix, and I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do. The image is based off of a comfy photo I took a year or so ago. I was at the local marina and I noticed the sunlight faintly disappearing over the trees of a lake. The trees looked very similar to an audio waveform with the way it was shaped, and it was an idea I just kept in theory for a while. The waveform is actually this song's intro haha check out Modern Baseball's stuff https://twitter.com/modernbaseball http://www.modernbaseballpa.com/ https://modernbaseballpa.bandcamp.com/
