It's been a bit since my last upload, but I've been hard at work for my next project.  Last December I started brainstorming ideas on how to construct the next major album and after some reflection on the Thorn of The Frozen Star, I felt there was too much left unsaid and the story felt very incomplete.  I took this as an opportunity to expand the universe I constructed and turn it into a full-fledged project with a deep story and immersive lore.  The 'prequel' album, "Time's Arrow", will mostly feature Zuriak, the dragon from my previous album plus a wide array of new characters including other oriental dragons, kirin, and ponies.  The story is meant to explore the events that led up to Thorn of The Frozen Star and give context to the kirin/dragon conflict.  I felt that in the previous album, his character fell flat and his motives were ambiguous which made the narrative seem too contrived and predictable in my opinion.  I am currently writing the story and unlike the last album, it will be a comprehensive tale written like a novel.  In addition to the story, the album will feature many more art pieces.

Nymerion is the capital city of in the oriental dragons' country, Ithral.  It is at the heart of a dense forest built within a waterfall valley.  It is one of the primary settings for Time's Arrow, and the birthplace of Zuriak.  Many years before the events of Thorn of The Frozen Star, Equestria was broken up into several different countries based on the creatures living in those regions.  On a modern Equestria map, Ithral is the patch of forest directly east of the Peaks of Peril on the rocky plateau.  The kirins country Kyryo is the forest area surrounding the Peaks extending to Luna Ocean.
