‘Morii’ is a word coined by ‘The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows’ to describe the need to capture and preserve moments of happiness—an intrinsically impossible task, like trying to capture sunlight in a jar.

From my interest in photography to my fascination with obscure music—I tend to experience morii as a kind of lifestyle. The problem with this lifestyle is that attempting to preserve these moments only results in being unable to experience them directly, causing a kind of blindness.
