READ THE DESCRIPTION FOR AN IMPORTANT UPDATE REGARDING MY MUSIC It's been a while since I released something, but here's something to prove that I actually HAVE been working on music. XD I have nothing that's ready to fully release just yet, but hopefully I should have one of these out within a month or so at MOST. So, here's a quick little synopsis on each track and a little explanation as to how/why it's come to be: "Softer" Song Attempt: My attempt at trying to make something that wasn't high-energy heavy the whole way through, as a lot of my other music has been in the past, and also gave me some practice in writing melodic parts which is something I've been interested in doing for my music for a long time now. Not only that, but this song, the whole way through (so far) sounds like an anime opening theme and I'm actually really proud of that! :D Song for Danganronpa: It's self explanatory, I started writing this with the intention of it being an original song about Danganronpa, no idea if it's still going to end up as a song for Danganronpa, but I'll still be happy with the final result either way. I tried to slow things down a bit for this one, to try and build up some tension in the song, similar to how the tension is built up during Danganronpa, and the few people I've shown this song to that have also seen Danganronpa have said that I've done a decent job with doing that, so I'm happy with it :D "Final Battle" Theme Attempt: Exactly what it says on the tin, I just opened REAPER one day with the intention of trying to make something that sounds like it'd be the theme for a Final Battle of a series/game, and so far it's coming along really well. This is also the latest project of the 3 that I've started, so it's got a little more polish than the other 2 projects (for now until I come back and fix them up). Also as a quick update, I am taking a different path when it comes to my music. I would rather make a proper update video about it but here's probably a better place to do it. I, for at least the next few releases of mine, will not be doing any lyrics or vocals for my music. I personally feel like I'm holding myself back by writing music with vocals involved, because I've taken shortcuts with writing lazy in the past with the excuse of "Oh the vocals will make it sound less lazy" and I want to stop that. Not only that, but my main reason for getting into music in the first place was to try and be a video game composer at some point, so this is also an experiment in me attempting to write some different styles of music, to widen my horizons with how I can put music together. If it goes well, then I may stick to doing just instrumentals, but if it goes 'meh', then I'll attempt to start doing lyrics and vocals again. Thanks for reading through this wall of text if you got this far, means a lot to know that you've taken the time to read all of that! :D Follow me over on Twitter for 'updates' occasionally: https://twitter.com/ss3ethan
