A repetitive action project for Timing design at SCAD. Everyday, people shred papers for recycling, but a machine cannot support many papers at a time. Every time you shred too many papers and too fast, the result will cause the machine damage. The video is a very solid piece and found the ending comical. The shredding feels ominous, and it contains strong meaning. While it is definitely up to interpretation of a deeper meaning, this can show the monotonous repetitive work that people force themselves to perform over and and over, faster and faster, until they break down just like how the machine broke down. I hope you like this video!
