So I was sitting there talking to one of my friends and all of a sudden this idea of a clock popped into my head. I told her about it and she thought it was pretty cool, so I entertained the idea a little further. The next day I had a song for it and the clock animation was already done. This is probably one of the fastest songs I've made that actually sounds decent, and it's one of my more favorable songs. I had a blast making it and I'm quite pleased with how it turned out in the end. As I get used to using video production and animating software, I hope to make higher quality lyric videos and cover art with each song. Also, with life throwing us this curveball, I hope this semi-depressing song can make you feel a little better (somehow). Thanks for listening and I hope ya'll have a wonderful rest of your day. Bandcamp: https://studioquinn.bandcamp.com/track/fading Lyrics: (Verse 1) I'm starting to feel it again Remembering when we were friends It seemed so very long ago That's the way I like it though From ice cream cones to broken hearts These memories have come so far Don't ask me why or how But these memories are fading now (Chorus) I can't even see you And I can't find a way I want to tell you something But time keeps on ticking away I thought I had a chance I thought it every day But looking back now I see it's all fading away (Verse 2) Headphones on and hoodie up Drown out the voices saying I'm not good enough Words swirling around inside my head It all comes back to me when I'm lying in bed I'll fall right into the abyss of my own mind But I really don't want to see what's hiding inside Everything I've done, every little mistake Oh, I wish they would all just fade away... (Chorus) I can't even see you And I can't find a way I want to tell you something But time keeps on ticking away I thought I had a chance I thought it every day But looking back now I see it's all fading away (Final Chorus) I can't even see now And I don't know which road to take I wanted to tell you something But I forgot what was going to say Maybe there's still a chance Maybe there's still a way 'Cause looking back now I can't let it fade away Sub count 'cause why not... 64
